Breast to bottle support

By six months, many babies have become highly efficient breastfeeders. Some parents are returning to work, introducing caregivers or needing more flexibility with feeding. Others discover their breastfed baby suddenly refuses every bottle they try.

The Minbie 6 Month+ Kit is designed to support these transitions. Our patented nipple encourages the same instinctive latch, tongue movement and feeding rhythm used at the breast, helping your baby move between breast and bottle while protecting the breastfeeding relationship you’ve worked so hard to build.

For families introducing a bottle later, it’s often the first bottle many breastfed babies will accept.

Prevents lazy feeding

Flow matters from 6 months onward. This kit includes a 6P paced nipple and a 6+ fast flow nipple, so you can support your baby’s development without milk flowing faster than they can manage.

The paced nipple encourages your baby to actively draw the milk, helping prevent lazy feeding and bottle preference, while the fast flow supports bigger feeds as your baby becomes more efficient.

Anti-reflux & colic support

Even older babies can experience discomfort from excess air during bottle feeds.

The Minbie nipple promotes a deeper latch and active feeding pattern, helping reduce gulping and unnecessary air swallowing. Combined with our built-in venting system, this supports calmer feeds and may help reduce symptoms associated with reflux, gas and feeding discomfort.

Premium PPSU bottles

Included is our durable 9 oz PPSU bottle, designed for growing appetites and everyday use.

PPSU is considered the gold standard in baby bottle materials thanks to its strength, safety and heat resistance. It withstands repeated sterilizing without warping, cracking or turning cloudy, and contains no BPA or BPS.

With the clarity of glass and the durability of premium engineering plastic, PPSU bottles are built to last through toddlerhood and beyond.

Not all nipples are equal

Why breastfed babies say yes to Minbie

Most bottle nipples let milk flow with little effort. Minbie’s patented nipple keeps your baby using the same active latch and suckling motion they use at the breast.

A conventional bottle nipple

Conventional nipple

  • Milk drips with little effort, so babies learn to compress instead of suckle
  • A different mouth shape from the breast, which can confuse a breastfed baby
  • Air is swallowed with milk, leading to gas and fussy feeds

The patented Minbie bottle nipple

The Minbie nipple

  • Latching surfaces guide a wide, deep latch, just like at the breast
  • A streamlined bulge supports the wave-like tongue motion of breastfeeding
  • Tip contours keep your baby actively suckling for every sip
  • An anti-colic vent sends air back into the bottle, not into the tummy

“After exclusively breastfeeding, my baby refused every bottle we tried and would become really distressed. As a midwife, I understand the sucking reflex and latch, so I was drawn to how closely this nipple mimics breastfeeding. Without hesitation, she took to it straight away. It eased so much anxiety and finally gave me a bit of freedom.”

“With my first baby, we struggled with bottle refusal and later nipple confusion, which led to her weaning earlier than I was ready for. Designed to nurture breastfeeding

Breast to bottle. And back again.

A shared feed shouldn’t mean leaving breastfeeding behind.

Minbie’s patented soft-silicone nipple is shaped around your baby’s natural breastfeeding motion. Latching surfaces and tip contours keep your baby actively latching and suckling, so they can go from breast to bottle and back without missing a beat.

  • Made for active sucklingYour baby works for milk just like at the breast, which helps prevent nipple confusion.
  • A flow for their paceFrom extra slow to advanced, with paced options for mostly breastfed babies.
  • Vented by designThe built-in vent sends air back into the bottle, for less gas and fussing.

Inside our patented nipple

Shaped for the way your baby feeds.

Four patented features work together so a bottle feed feels like a breastfeed.

Latching surfaces
Guide a wide, deep latch, just like at the breast.
Streamlined bulge
Supports the wave-like tongue movement of natural breastfeeding.
Tip contours
Release milk only when your baby actively suckles.
Palate shape
Sits comfortably against your baby’s palate.

Integrated anti-colic vent

Milk out. Air back in.

As your baby feeds, air flows back into the bottle instead of into their tummy. Less swallowed air means less gas, less spit-up and calmer feeds.

Nipple confusion & bottle preference

The same motion as the breast, not just the same look

Conventional nipples drip milk with little effort, so babies can learn a lazier technique and start to prefer the bottle. Minbie keeps your baby actively suckling, which helps prevent nipple confusion and protects your breastfeeding journey.

★★★★★Exclusively breastfed
“My exclusively breastfed baby accepted it straight away. A huge relief for this mama of two, and a lovely chance for Daddy to bond.”

Reflux, colic & unsettled feeds

Calmer feeds for sensitive tummies

Paced flows slow milk down and the anti-colic vent keeps air out, so babies swallow less air and feeds feel calmer. It’s why so many parents of babies with reflux and colic choose Minbie.

★★★★★Reflux & colic
“My baby has very bad reflux and colic, and I was dreading going back to work because she struggled to keep a bottle down. Minbie was the only bottle that actually slowed her down so she could keep everything down. It hasn’t affected our breastfeeding either.”

Why we choose PPSU

Glass-like clarity. Everyday durability.

The premium bottle material: tougher than standard plastic, lighter than glass.

Lightweight, BPA-free PPSU handles far more heat than standard PP, so it stays clear and strong through years of washing and sterilizing. You get glass-like clarity without the weight or breakage, and embossed measurements that never rub off.

    The only bottle that’s worked!

My 6 month old daughter had never successfully taken a bottle when we first tried the minbie bottles. We had purchased lots of different types, including ones that had worked with my older children, but she was having none of it, and most of the milk ended up dribbled down her front rather than in her mouth! A friend recommended the minbie bottles so we gave them a go and from the first bottle it was clear that it was different to the others and she actually took milk quite happily! This has been such a help to us, as although I want to continue breastfeeding, we now have more flexibility around feeding her and giving me a break when needed :slightly_smiling:

Good questions

Questions before you begin

Will my breastfed baby take it?

Minbie is designed for exactly this. Our patented nipple supports the same wide latch and active sucking your baby uses at the breast, so they can move between breast and bottle without learning a new technique. It’s why so many parents tell us their baby took a Minbie after refusing other bottles.

For the first few bottles:

  • Offer it when your baby is calm and not too hungry, sitting fairly upright.
  • Hold the bottle horizontally at first, with the air vent at the top.
  • Touch the nipple to their top lip and wait for a wide, open mouth, as at the breast.
  • If they’re not interested, stop and try later. It often helps if someone other than the breastfeeding parent offers it.
Which nipple flow should I choose?

Start with the flow for your baby’s age, then adjust to how they feed:

  • 0+ Extra slow: newborns and preemies
  • 1+ Slow: when extra slow becomes too slow, often 1–3 months
  • 3P Paced: from around 2 months, for mostly breastfed babies
  • 3+ Medium: from around 3 months
  • 6P Paced: from around 6 months, for mostly breastfed babies
  • 6+ Fast: from around 6 months
  • 9+ Advanced: from around 9 months

If your baby gulps, coughs, sputters or leaks milk from the sides of their mouth, try a slower flow. If they get frustrated or feeds take a very long time, try the next flow up. Every Minbie nipple fits every Minbie bottle.

Does it help with gas and colic?

The anti-colic vent sends air back into the bottle rather than into your baby’s tummy, and paced flows help babies feed at a calmer speed. Many parents of babies with colic and reflux tell us feeds become calmer. If you’re worried about your baby’s symptoms, talk to your pediatrician.

What are the bottles made of, and how do I sterilize them?

Bottles are PPSU, a durable, lightweight, heat-resistant material that’s free from BPA and BPS. Nipples are BPA-free German silicone.

Sterilize however suits you: a steam or UV sterilizer, boiling for 5 minutes, sterilizing tablets or solution, or microwave steam bags.

Can I store breast milk in Minbie bottles?

Yes. Use the sealing disc in place of the nipple for storage, then swap the nipple back on to feed. Follow CDC guidance on how long breast milk can be kept in the fridge or freezer.

What if it’s not right for my baby?

Email us your baby’s age and what you’ve tried, and we’ll suggest a flow and approach. Unused items in their original sealed packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
