What comes in the pack?
Two Minbie pacifiers in the same color, plus a case you can use for travel and for sterilizing. Each pacifier is one piece of soft, premium-grade silicone. Choose from Grey, Milk, Sage, Pink and Blue; all colors have the same design.
What age is it for?
From newborn up to around 2 years.
What makes the Minbie pacifier different?
Its patented shape is flatter and wider than a round, cherry-shaped pacifier, with a slim neck, so it sits neatly and comfortably in your baby’s mouth. It’s one piece of silicone, so there are no joints where germs can hide, and the koala-shaped shield is vented to let delicate skin breathe.
Will it interfere with breastfeeding?
The Minbie pacifier is shaped to complement your baby’s natural sucking action. Many breastfeeding parents tell us their baby moves happily between breast, bottle and pacifier.
My baby won’t take a pacifier. Any tips?
Every baby is different, and it can take a few tries.
- Check it’s the right way up: you should be able to read the Minbie logo.
- Rest the shield against your baby’s upper lip, with the flatter side facing up, and wait for them to draw it in.
- If they don’t take it, try again later when they’re calm.
- While they get used to it, hold your baby so the handle rests gently against your chest.
How do I clean it?
Wash in warm, soapy water and rinse well. Then sterilize by boiling for 5 minutes (keep the flame under the pot), in a steam or UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Replace it every 2–3 months, and check it before every use.
